Later Jeremy moved to Sweden where his stepfather strictly forbade him to even touch his Bang & Olufssen stereo. Simple mathematics were to dictate the following course of events, as Jeremys interest in sound technology just grew and grew. In the 80's while getting into the work of Grandmaster Flash, Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarré, he met a friends older brother who, returning from Goa, India, told tales of strange electronic music and left a few classic bits of music gear for the 10 year old Jeremy to marvel at. Things were getting interesting! About 7 years later, in 1994, the urge to travel brought experience after experience, a musical journey, touring from festival to festival, DJ'ing in 11 countries over the course of about 10 years time. Highlights include performing at Solar Eclipse gatherings, seeing his collaborative works released on various labels, and eventually being offered a Sony/BMG contract. In 2002 he attended the SAE School of Audio Engineering in Melbourne, Australia. He began laying the foundation for the Mothership Mastering upon his return to Sweden. The company was founded in 2006, after years of search for the right location, and considerable effort has gone into sourcing and restoring the equipment, and constructing the mastering room itself. In 2008 we are proud to announce the official opening of the Mothership Studio! |
